⚠ ProblemMy console is read-only because of a payment
If a charge fails, you have 7 days to pay before the console turns read-only.

What's happening
A charge for your plan didn't go through. From that day, a bar above every screen says: "Your last payment failed. Update your payment details to keep your console and website running." In Billing, the Status counts the days, for example "Payment failed — day 3".
On day 8 the bar changes to: "Your console is read-only until payment is received. You can still see everything, but changes are paused." If you try to save something, the form replies: "Your console is read-only until payment is received. Go to Billing (/billing) to pay." Your website stays online until day 22, when it goes offline.
Pay what's due
Tap Update payment or Pay now in the bar. Under Payment due, tap the pay button and complete the card form. You can use a different card. Once the payment goes through, your console is back to normal straight away and the bar disappears.
Confirm with your bank
If the section says Finish this payment, your bank wants you to confirm the charge. Tap the pay button and follow your bank's steps.
